Google vs. The Phone vs. The Library. And the winner is…

The Guardian takes 6 questions and lets each of 3 reporters try to find the answer. One used Google, one the telephone, one the library. They report the time it took to answer the question, the accuracy, and rank the contenders. The results are not that surprising. Different tools are useful for different kinds of questions. It is useful to reinforce that, though. Those who do library instruction might find the article a useful example.
