Expect Resistance & Library Autonomous zone are the combined blogs of Shinjoung Yeo and James Jacobs. They were originally began while Shinjoung and James were working at UC San Diego library. These two blogs have been on a long hiatus but we feel that it is a time to bring them back to life. The issues that we will cover will be broadly about information provision and libraries but you will find randomness within an order and coherence.
After working at academic libraries, Shinjoung decided to pursue a life that doesn’t require being managed or managing others. She is still looking. James is currently working at Stanford Library as a government documents librarian and is an information activist at Free Government Information.
